To present such piece of bling-bling, gauche in design as only could be appreciated by the former "student athletes" of the National Football League or, say, a "gangsta crew" ... was it an act of sardonic intent? Or did Pooty-poot just lift the ring, expecting the usual bribery to be in his lofty company? A "Mr. Crass" contest between an NFL owner and a semi-Stalinoid functionary of a quietly imploding former police state, and the outcome was ... a draw!

Thank you for focusing on the Bling-y specifics. We are proud of our tiny scoop to have provided an illustration of the Akchwal Ring from Patriot archives. The Grown-up Journalists so far as we saw had only a picture of Mr. Putin, looking a bit guilty.
